Sculptivate worked with Christian Dior’s in-house design team to realise The Carousel of Dreams, an extraordinary sculptural installation coming to life at night through an experience of illumination and sound.

An ode to the magic of creation, the building’s ten-story-tall façade was transformed through large scale astrological and nature-themed Dior symbols.

As Dior’s technical consultants and project management team, we worked closely to make the visionary design a reality. Starting from a hand-drawn sketch, we led rapid design and development phases, bringing together expertise from Europe and the States.

Despite the compressed timeline, we explored innovative engineering processes including specialist metal forming and, ultimately, layered an astounding 250,000 pixels of programmable LED.

We were honoured to play our part in Dior’s incredible journey, delivering a unique blend of artistry and technical innovation, in a genre-defining installation.
